Tre had a cute piece in the Leach Botanical Garden Eco Art Fundraiser using the same upcycling technique as for zer memory bubbles, drawing with sharpies onto plastic cut from to-go containers, baking them like shrinky-dinks, then incorporating beads from broken necklaces.

Leach Botanical’s fundraising paradigm was exemplary. All pieces were under 5×5″ & all priced at $40. We were excited that Tre’s offering sold quickly and that they put together such a nice slide show of the work: https://www.leachgarden.org/fundraising-events/eco-art-fundraiser
The exhibit sold 52 art pieces for a total of $2,080 funds raised to support the Garden’s mission & the remaining artworks in the gift shop on a rotating basis, then sold all the remaining works via Silent Auction at a 3rd event. So much easier than returning unsold art!!!!
All participating artists were invited to a lovely artist reception the evening before the sale & served yummy chocolates & fruits with an assortment of alcoholic & non-alcoholic beverages, with free range to wander the gardens. We were also gifted year memberships & our foto file from the slide show. A truly lovely experience.
